 - Location: The first point is the T-junction with the new concrete road, adjacent to the back of the Ho Chi Minh monument, the end point is adjacent to the Bac Van military port, with the length of 7,500m, the width of 8.5-9m, asphalt surface;

- History: On May 9, 1961, from Tra Co (Mong Cai), Uncle Ho visited Co To island. He visited the agricultural production cooperative and salt fields. Here, he advised: "Even though the capital of Hanoi is far from the islands, the Party and Government always care about the people of the islands and hope for their unity and progress". Co To was the only locality to get Uncle Ho’s permission to erect a statue of him while he was still alive.

- The reason for naming the street May 9 is to remember Uncle Ho’s visit to Co To island.
